bauke van der laaken | additional arrangements

in the early stage of preproduction of 'it might like you' julia was invited by bauke to work with him on her songs. during that sessions which happened in the netherlands, the base arrangements for some of the songs were born. the time frame was tight, but the creative juices were flowing and some crazy ideas were added to spice up the arrangements. like breathing accordion in "carousel" (yes, the accordion is not playing, but breathing in this song). in the end three songs from the album: "fear of flying", "carousel" and "dancer" have bauke's touch.

bauke van der laaken is a producer, songwriter and engineer. he worked with nemesea, radius and radio orange among others. he's currently operating studio spitsbergen.
